Bininger's Old Kentucky Bourbon, 1860

A woman carries the grain sheaves that became the glass.

What

A. M. Bininger & Co.'s New York-bottled Kentucky bourbon, labeled with a chromolithograph of a woman carrying grain sheaves — the raw material personified.

Why

Bininger & Co. dissolved in the 19th century with no modern revival; this is pre-Bininger-era Americana, older than the house's core 1880s window but the same dead-mark doctrine applies.

Notice

The label-as-artwork format — this predates the poster-scale advertising the rest of this collection favors, closer to trade-card illustration blown up to the bottle's own sheet.

“The label survived the bottle by a century and a half.”

Format

The full-resolution, color-managed file — restored honestly, yours to print and keep.

Sized to protect print quality — this scan supports sizes up to 18x24" cleanly.
